Crazy as it may sound, there’s an increasingly busy calendar of sporting events taking place in exotic places, which, under normal circumstances, require guests to remain in vehicles or at least be accompanied by armed rangers.
For one, or sometimes a few days, per year, these events allow you to run or ride through reserves and protected parks where animals roam free on tropically dense trails.
Of course, they come with careful safety regulations, and - mostly - they're anything but races. Instead, they're a way for destinations to raise funds for important organisations in the conservation realm in exchange for a bucket list of nature and exertion experiences.
